Hello and Namaste,
India recently passed farmer’s bills 2020. There have been reports of farmers whom the bill already helped in getting their fair share and justice due to the bill.
While the bill helped some farmers, and have support from section of farmers, there have been protests within India and few countries against the bill.
With negotiations between Indian Govt. representatives and farmers stalled to some extent, matter is also is being heard in Supreme Court of India.
To bring clarity on facts on farmer’s bill, FIIDs is organizing a talk by Mr. Gopal Krishna Agarwal, BJP’s economic thinker, social/human right activist and charter accountant.
