Atrocities in Bangladesh: RSVP
Recently the world has witness atrocities on religious minorities in general and Hindus in particular. During Durga Puja (Hindu festival worshipping feminine form of God) celebrations, Hindu temples were destroyed, festivities were disrupted, Hindus were beaten, hundreds of injured and more than 7 died in attacks.
Foundation for India and Indian Diaspora Studies(FIIDS) is hosting this a panel to discuss the atrocities in Bangladesh. This panel has Priya Saha, Bangladeshi Hindu woman and Mr. Utsav Chakravarti ( a political analyst from Washington DC). Smt. Priya Saha is organising secretary of the Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Council (HBCUC). Due to her campaign against the atrocities, she has been subjected to prosecution and hence cannot return to Bangladesh.
